This Quirky Map Shows What Every Country 'Rules The World' In

Because we all love a good map – especially ones that pit all the countries of the world against each other…

A map created by William Ray Yamartino, and Rafaan Anvari of the Grapefruit Press has us in stitches. Why, you ask? It basically illustrates what every country does better than every other one on the planet.

To create the beautiful colourful piece of cartography, the guys collected all sorts of information from oodles of sources. But because so many countries led the world in many, many of the same things, they decided to make it that bit more quirky.

Of course, some things aren’t worth shouting about to your friends. Russia leads the world in ‘raspberries and nuclear warheads’; New Zealand is an influencer when it comes to ‘sheep and rugby’ and China is great at ‘CO2 emissions and renewable energy’ – the irony.
